Project Description and Requirements

This multi-purpose sports hall was originally a basketball court and has now been renovated into a badminton court. A total of 8 courts are required. Additionally, the buffer zones outside the courts also utilize PVC sports flooring to protect the basketball court surface.

Material Selection

Farfly selected the BOGUAN series, a professional-grade PVC badminton flooring.

Gravel-textured surface: Increases friction and enhances slip resistance.

6mm Thickness: Provides ample cushioning and impact resistance, reducing joint stress on athletes.

Models: BAM4002 and GYM80101

High Rebound & Impact Resistance: Protects athletes and minimizes injury risks during intense competition.

Formaldehyde-Free & Eco-Friendly: Ensures safe air quality and meets environmental standards.

Exceptional wear resistance: High durability ensures the flooring resists wear from frequent use, extending its lifespan.

Certifications: Passed various quality tests, environmental certifications, and fire resistance tests, including BWF certification, guaranteeing quality and safety.

Subfloor Preparation

The original subfloor was solid wood basketball flooring. Therefore, the installation team opted to secure the badminton flooring with double-sided tape, allowing for easy removal and storage.

Flooring Installation Procedures

1: Pre-lay PVC flooring for 24-48 hours to fully acclimate to ambient temperatures.

2: Install using tools such as a welding torch, welding rods, and utility knives. Achieve seamless connections between floor panels to enhance longevity. Install the badminton court area first, by the outer buffer zone.

3: Upon completion, the team conducted thorough disinfection to meet the client's hygiene standards.
